Stacey Preis

Missouri Policy Consultant

Stacey Preis is an education policy consultant supporting work in education policy development and implementation, advancing Missouri’s state longitudinal data system, and connecting with Missouri legislators and state department leaders on education issues. She provides consulting services to several clients, including nonprofits, in philanthropy, workforce development, and education. Preis is the former Deputy Commissioner of the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Prior to serving as Deputy Commissioner, she spent six years with the Missouri General Assembly as Executive Director of the Joint Committee on Education. She holds three degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia, including a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis.
