Tom Jones is an influential leader who is a disciplined, knowledgeable, trusted advisor focusing on a consultative approach informed by analytical and objective decision making to arrive at solutions to business challenges. As a leader with 25 years of experience, he is a solution-based business developer who is an expert in building relationships, being purposeful, and having a lot of fun while contributing positively to the lives of his family, clients, and community.

Jones built a successful relationship manager and business development career within the financial services industry with one of the country’s top money managers serving financial intermediaries, institutional clients, and individual investors.  Jones has spent more than 25 years providing investment and value-added solutions and services for clients which include many Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, he has spent time as a strategic business partner with many mid and small-sized companies within the Kansas City region.

He has also been involved in college athletics and amateur sports since his days at the University of Kansas. He began this passion in the Kansas Athletics Communications Department, where he continues to serve as a gameday consultant for football and men’s basketball. In addition, he has been involved with the Big 8/12 Conference and other civic sports-related events in Kansas City since the early 1990s as a volunteer in many roles.

He resides in Overland Park, KS, with his wife, Marsha, and his children, Allie (Creighton G’21) and Grant (University of Kansas G’24). He grew up in Great Bend, KS, and his wife is from Ottawa, KS.
